The rain is loud now, As if a giant feet arises from the clouds To step on the river under the bridge of my heart And disturb it in such a way That the sails of ships bend, And the water touches the bridge from below, Tickling it to sorrow… The rain is loud now, But actually, it has always been like this. You were there once, And I never felt it. But now, All there is Is this sorrow That tickles me from inside, As if it wants me to laugh, Yet doesn’t let me At the same time…
I look up And see the sun leak through
This sieve of leaves
Making the misty air visible;
Moving away like a ghost
Afraid of daylight,
Letting the light all the way through
To my face...
It grows brighter
But I don’t move;
Stuck there
Like a money plant without support
Dreaming to jump at the rope above it...
But only dreaming
As it can’t even try
To fail...
I look up
And see the sun leak through
This sieve of leaves...
And I keep looking
Until I see a twinkle here and there.
I keep looking
Until there's a hole in the eye;
The world swirling
Like a film of soap on water
All swimming with rainbow colours...
I keep looking
Until the hole in my eye grows so wide
There’s only darkness left...
